Updike involvement with investigation in violations of Illinois Statues, Citing pursuant to 765 ILCS 745/16(a) a landlord is barred from bringing an eviction as a reprisal for a tenant’s effort to secure any rights under the laws of the State of Illinois.

The dispute is violation of Illinois Law requiring 90 day notification of any form of Lot rent increase.
