Call Your Senator to Oppose SB 91
(Article added Dec. 31st, 1969)
Terry Nelson called this afternoon to say SB091 failed to pass, however Senator Clayborne will try once more on Tuesday to amend the Bill again. He has hosed up this bill so bad and he was caught in a lie today about Fire Chiefs agreeing to the Bill .
It was one fireman against a long list of opposing fire chiefs .
IHI is pulling out all stops to get this Bill passed. So that means we need to call Senators once more and ask them to please OPPOSE SB091. We have had great support from Senator Christine Radogno and Louis Viverito and many others but the fight remains .
For those experienced in the legislation process we know it's never over till it's over so the calls and appeals for support must be repeated .
Terry also said our two Bills, SB320 and SB553 were passed today and she thanks everyone for taking the time to participate in this week .
